What is CEREC?

How does the CEREC procedure work?

First, a digital impression of the affected tooth is taken using a special camera. This impression is then used to create a 3D image on a computer screen. The dentist can then customize and design the restoration on the computer before sending it to an in-office milling machine to create the actual restoration material.
